Plant Operators

Plant Operators are required to safely operate mobile heavy earthmoving plant and machinery to level, excavate, load and move earth, rock and other material on mining and civil projects.

Operating equipment from rigid and articulated dump trucks, excavators, scrapers, graders and dozers, plant operators are key to the success of our projects. Project dependent, plant operators have the opportunity to work FIFO, DIDO and residential on various rosters such at 7:7:7 and 14:7, with travel, accommodation and meals provided as well as allowances for projects away from home.

Drill and Blast

Members of our drill and blast team undertake several roles such as Blast hole Drilling, Blast Crew including Bench Hands, Drill Fitters & Drill Support. Working on various projects and rosters, our skilled Drill and Blast team members play a critical role in operations. We have an inhouse Engineering team who have the knowledge and experience to design, mark out and create plans for all of our Drill & Blast activities.

Trades

Road Transport Drivers

Working quite autonomously our team of road transport drivers operate heavy road equipment to transport plant or materials to and from sites or as assigned to work on a project site. To work in this role, you need a current heavy vehicle driver’s licence either HC or MC, construction industry white card and high-risk forklift licence. Drivers also need to have a sound knowledge of NHVR rules and regulations along with the skills to operate all types of machinery for loading and unloading purposes. Operating on public roads for long periods of time sees our drivers well-schooled in Fatigue Management Strategies and Fitness for Work.

Site Administrators 

Our site administrators have a high degree of autonomy providing administrative support to projects. Working various rosters on site, these roles are key to ensuring rosters, payroll, travel and accommodation bookings and other general site administration tasks are completed supporting the successful operation of the project.

Corporate

Our head office, based in Darlington south of Adelaide, provides support across the business and opportunities in finance, human resources including payroll, general administration, health and safety, logistics, operations, legal, IT and management.

Engineers

We have opportunities for engineers to work across our mining and civil. Our engineers are responsible for the quality assurance, planning, development, management and delivery of civil and mining projects. This can involve, project or site supervision and management, tendering and estimating, project design, contract administration, preparing progress claims and ensuring accurate project records management.

Management & Leadership

From corporate management roles to on site managers and supervisors there are a range of opportunities be able to influence and support the company to deliver on our project objectives. Our officed based management team is encouraged to have a presence on sites interacting and engaging with employees and clients regularly. Some of our site-based management roles include, Mine Managers, Superintendents, Project Managers and supervisors, Site Managers and Maintenance Managers.

Surveyors

Our surveyors are responsible for managing all surveying aspects of our civil operations including machine guided GPS. To work with our team of surveyors, we look for individuals who are TAFE or University qualified who have a passion for what they do.

Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) Team

The HSEC team consists of Administrators, HSEC Coordinators and Plant Trainers & Assessors. Our HSEC Coordinators work on site and are responsible for supporting Project Managers and Supervisors in establishing safety performance and monitoring compliance. Working on sites along site the HSEC Coordinators, are Plant Trainers & Assessors delivering practical and theory-based training in plant operation as well as verifying competencies and maintaining training records.
