]]> It has been a year to remember. Lucas TCS has mined in excess of 2,800,000 BCM since commencing the Load and Haul Services Contract at Mt Cattlin Mine in WA and production has been steadily increasing since September 2020.

Special mention to the South Australian workforce who spent up to 6 months away from home to ensure the continued success of the project during hard border closures.

Lucas TCS recently mobilised and commissioned a 200 Tonne Hitachi Excavator and two additional 100 Tonne Dump Trucks to give the project further production capacity and are awaiting the imminent arrival of a further 100 Tonne Dump Truck to support the operations.

Lucas TCS is proud to announce that Granville Harbour Windfarm project was a Tasmania State Finalist in the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards held in September 2020. The awards recognise outstanding achievement in engineering and the invaluable contribution engineering makes to the economy, community and the environment.

Lucas TCS undertook the design and construct contract for civil and concrete works for this new windfarm including 31 wind turbine foundations, 19km of road construction, operations and maintenance building and public road intersection upgrade.

We are thrilled to announce we have been awarded the Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park Early Works contract for construction of storage areas, access roads and highway tie-ins.

The Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park is a unique hybrid renewable energy development integrating wind and solar PV technology which is designed to produce 317 Mega Watts of installed capacity. This is enough to power around 180,000 households each year.

We are excited to be working for new client Elecnor on this electrifying green energy project.

A fleet of Lucas TCS excavators, dozers, graders, watercarts and dump trucks have been mobilised and will move over 180,000m3 of material to lift the embankment 3.5m.

We are excited to be back working in the Northern Territory and are looking forward to forging a strong relationship with new client and industry leader Newmont.

Lucas Total Contract Solutions are returning to Prominent Hill for the Tailings Storage Facility Uplift Stage 5.

We have a long history with this TSF infrastructure, having constructed the original starter embankment clay liner, key trench, underfloor drainage and process water ponds in 2008, followed by the stage 2 five meter clay liner uplift in 2011 and more recently, successfully completing the Stage 4 five metre uplift in 2017.

Lucas TCS wins new contract – Tailem Bend, South Australia

South Australian civil construction company Lucas has been awarded the contract, which will see
an estimated 140 new jobs created in the twelve-month construction of the racing circuit.
This important milestone is part of the $100 million investment by the Peregrine Corporation, which
will see it become an iconic sporting facility for South Australia championing local, national and
international motorsport and major events for the state.
